The Egyptian Foundation for the Advancement of Childhood Conditions is one of the Egyptian human rights organizations concerned with the various sectors of children’s rights. It is an extension of the Egyptian Child Rights Center, which was established in 2000 as the first human rights organization concerned with children’s rights in Egypt

Our mission
We, the Egyptian Foundation for the Advancement of Childhood Conditions, with our scientific and practical experiences and partnerships at the national, regional and international levels with organizations, bodies, networks and personalities concerned with child rights and protection, integrate together in order to enable children to obtain all their rights by participating in order to achieve their best interests, and to empower civil society organizations concerned with children through :
• Implementing the principles, standards and mechanisms of children’s rights contained in international conventions through raising awareness, qualification and training for all parties concerned with children’s rights and issues, and monitoring the extent of the government’s commitment to their application.
• Participation in the activation and development of national legislation and policies related to the family and children and monitoring the extent of compliance with them.
• Monitoring all forms of violence and violations against children, and prosecuting their perpetrators.
• Preparing shadow reports and suggesting alternative policies and legislation.
• Active participation in the national, regional and international mechanisms concerned with the rights of the child and the family.
• Mobilizing public opinion to defend all issues of child and family rights.
• Supporting the institutional capacities of organizations and institutions concerned with childhood, as well as members of the protection committees.
• Applying pioneering models in all areas of childhood and promoting them to the government sector for adoption.
