NOVACT is present in 14 countries in the Euro-Mediterranean region. Geographically, its work is divided into three regions: the Maghreb, with headquarters in Tunis and another office in the Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf; the Mashreq, with headquarters in Amman, Jordan, and another office in Ramallah, Palestine; and finally Europe, with headquarters in Barcelona, plus offices in Madrid and Extremadura.

The Novact Institute for Nonviolence is a non-profit association dedicated to conflict transformation and peacebuilding: waging nonviolence, confronting authoritarianism, building peace. It has been working in the Euro-Mediterranean region for over 20 years. The strategic areas in which we work are: 1) Strengthening human rights defenders 2) Preventing violent conflicts 3) Preventing corporate abuse 4) Building alternatives for the common good 5) Adapting the organisation to our values.
